This set of oblong bowls is handmade with a brown clay body and glazed with a winter white combination of glazes that sparkle with a hint of pale blue. The series is made to mimic a cracked open geode with all the colors and sparkle inside.
All of my work is hand built in the pinch, coil or slab method so you may see how my hands manipulated the clay. Each set is different, and their shapes and sizes vary, but the large bowl is approximately 11-1/4” long, 9-1/2“ wide and 3-1/4“ deep, the medium bowl is approximately 9-3/4“ long, 8-1/4” wide and 3“ deep, and the small bowl is approximately 5-1/4“ wide and 1-1/2“ deep.
As with any handmade item, it will benefit from gentle, hand washing and care.
